How does the bookstore management system work?

The book store management system in the CodeIgniter project is only accessible for store management. It includes 2 types of user roles, which are managers and cashiers. Admin users are allowed to access and manage all system data, including the list of book categories, books and users. Cashier users are only allowed to make transactions with customers. The program also generates a printable sales transaction receipt.

requirements

• Download and install any local web server like XAMPP.
• Download the provided source zip code file. (The download button is below)

System installation

1. Open your XAMPP control panel and start Apache and MySQL.
2. Extract the zip file of the downloaded source code.
3. Copy the extracted source code folder and place it in XAMPP's "htdocs" directory.
4. Browse PHPMyAdmin in a browser. That is http://localhost/phpmyadmin
5. Create a new database called ci_bsms_db.
6. Enter the provided SQL file. This file is known as ci_bsms_db.sql, which is located inside the database folder.
7. Browse the book store management system in a browser. That is http://localhost/bsms_ci/.
