Hi, this is a project that may help other IT students or self-teachers who are studying vb.net programming. This pharmacy sales management system / point of sale (POS) system source code was created using VB.net and MySQL database. Update and add a new warehouse. As for the register page/form, this form is where the sales transaction is registered or done. The checkout form has a user-friendly interface and also has keyboard shortcuts that are displayed. The system generates a printable receipt. This system has 2 types of user login, which are admin and cashier users. Admin has privilege to manage all system data while cashier can only manage sales transaction or register checkout page/form.

requirements

• Download and install Microsoft Visual Studio software.
• Download and install XAMPP.

How to run

1. Download and extract the compressed source code file. (The download button is below)
2. Open your XAMPP control panel and start "Apache" and "MySQL".
3. Open a web browser and browse to localhost/phpmyadmin.
4. Create a new database named "pmisdb".
5. Find the "pmisdb.sql.zip" file in the main source code folder and extract it.
6. Import the "pmisdb.sql" file into your "pmiasdb" database.
7. Find the "WindowsApplication1.sln" file in the source code folder.
8. Open the ".sln" solution file with your Microsoft Visual Studio software.
9. Press the "F5" key on your keyboard to run the system.
