About the project

The contact management system project is written in PHP language. This is a simple project that is very easy to understand and use. Talking about the system, it includes all the required functions, including adding, viewing, deleting and updating the list of contacts. When adding a contact, they must provide their first name, last name, gender, address, and contact information. The user can also update the list of contacts if he wishes. The system shows the contact details in a list view. And also the user easily deletes any contact information.

This contact management system project provides the simplest contact details management. In short, these projects mainly focus on CRUD. An external database connection file is used in this small project for permanent storage of user data. To run the project, you must have XAMPP installed on your personal computer.

How to install and run

• After starting Apache and MySQL in XAMPP, follow the steps below
  • first stage: File extraction
  • second stage: Copy the main folder of the project
  • third level: paste in xampp/htdocs/
• Connecting database now
  • The fourth stage: Open a browser and go to the URL "http://localhost/phpmyadmin/".
  • The fifth stage: Then click on the database tab
  • The sixth stage: Create a database named "contact_manager" and then click on the import tab
  • The seventh stage: Click on browse file and "
• contact manager .sql file which is inside the DATABASE folder
  • The eighth stage: Click on go.
• After creating the database,
  • The ninth stage: Open a browser and go to the URL "http://localhost/contact/".
