A beehive is a place where bees live, which is built by workers. These workers are made of bee filters and are responsible for building the hive, collecting food and rearing the larvae and queen. The hive is made of small hexagonal units called cells, in which honey, pollen and bee eggs are placed. Hive cells are divided into two types: honey and egg cells. Honey cells are used to store food and honey, and egg-laying cells are used to place the queen's eggs in them.

In general, bees are one of the most productive and social insects that live in their hives. Reproduction and beehive formations are among the important activities of bees that help to maintain the existence of these insects.

In many starters, any type of gamete can develop in a sterile manner. In eugamous animals, only eggs can sometimes develop in this way. Therefore, natural barrenness takes place, for example, in rotifers, bees and other social insects. And it rarely occurs in birds such as turkeys and domestic chickens. Apomixis is a type of fertilization that occurs in plants. In this phenomenon, the embryo is not obtained through fertilization. Rather, it arises from the cells inside the embryo sac or the cells of the stew around the embryo sac. In terms of function, a gamete that is able to be fertilized is no different from a spore, that is, both of them are germ cells that can directly turn into an adult.
Social insects, including bees, are animals in which barrenness occurs. In such a way that, when the population of a hive becomes too much. The queen and several male bees and several thousand workers are separated from the colony. The queen and the male bee form a pair together. The sperms received by the queen are stored in a bag located inside the abdomen. The sperms received from this one mating will remain until the end of the queen's egg-laying period.
Among the eggs that are laid one by one in the beehive, some of them are not fertilized even in the body of the young queen. In an old queen who has exhausted her sperm reserve, none of the eggs will be fertilized. Unfertilized eggs make male bees. Such growth deprived of a father, which is usually abundant among social insects, is called natural infertility.
