This simple project is called Product Show Room Site. This is a web based application project developed in PHP and MySQL database. This simple site provides an online platform for the company to market its product or provide an overview of its products to its prospective customer. The main goal of this project is to provide ideas to new programmers to create a simple content management system in PHP, where users dynamically update content fields and the content itself using the front-end site. This application has a pleasant user interface with the help of Bootstrap Framework and AdminLTE. It also consists of user-friendly features and capabilities.

I developed this project using the following:

This product showroom site has 2 sides of user interface which is for management and public/visitors. The management site is a part of the system where the company management can manage the information and content of the site. Here, admin can update the content of Welcome/Home Page, About Us page and contact information. The management side asks the user to enter the site with his valid user information in order to access the facilities and capabilities of the said site. Admin can dynamically add, edit or delete product details field. They can also change the order of the fields. Public / site visitor is the side of the application that is accessible to everyone. Here, visitors can read and review information about the company and the products they sell. They can also submit their request on this site.

requirements

• Download and install any local web server like XAMPP.
• Download the provided source zip code file. (The download button is below)

System installation

• Activate the GD library in your php.ini file.
• Open your XAMPP control panel and start Apache and MySQL.
• Extract the zip file of the downloaded source code.
• Copy the extracted source code folder and place it in XAMPP's "htdocs" directory.
• Browse PHPMyAdmin in a browser. That is http://localhost/phpmyadmin
• Create a new database named psrs_db.
• Enter the provided SQL file. This file is known as psrs_db.sql, which is located inside the database folder.
• Browse the product showroom site in a browser. That is http://localhost/psrs/.

Default admin access:

• Username: admin
• Password: admin123
