This project is called air cargo management system. It is a web based application developed using PHP/OOP and MySQL database. This project manages the transportation transactions of Air Cargo companies with their customers. This allows management to save and restore their daily transaction without any hassle. It has a simple interface and user-friendly features and capabilities.

I developed this project using the following:

This air cargo management system project includes various related modules such as transactions. It has two sides of the user interface, which are the management panel and the general part. The visitor can browse the site and read some information such as "Welcome" and "About Us" content. It also allows corporate/merchant customers to track or trace their shipment on the website. The system requires customers to enter their shipping reference code to track their shipment or shipment. The management panel is a part of the system that is accessible only for management. This position is managed by 2 types of user roles, which are Administrators and Employees. Administrator users have the privilege to access and manage all the features and capabilities available on the side of the mentioned system. While employees only have limited permission. The system generates a printable transaction detail listing the customer's shipment and shipment information. In this system, the price of cargo depends on the type of cargo. Each type of cargo has 3 types of prices, which are city-to-city prices, state-to-state prices, and country-to-country prices. When calculating the total amount of the transaction, the prices are multiplied by the weight of the shipment (kg).

requirements

• Download and install any local web server like XAMPP/WAMP.
• Download the provided source zip code file. (The download button is below)

Installation / commissioning

1. Enable or disable the GD library in your php.ini file.
2. Open your XAMPP/WAMP control panel and start Apache and MySQL.
3. Extract the zip file of the downloaded source code.
4. If you are using XAMPP, copy the extracted source code folder and place it in XAMPP's "htdocs" directory. And if you are using WAMP, put it in the "www" directory.
5. Browse PHPMyAdmin in a browser. That is http://localhost/phpmyadmin
6. Create a new database named acms_db.
7. Enter the provided SQL file. This file is known as acms_db.sql, which is located inside the database folder.
8. Browse the air cargo management system in a browser. ie http://localhost/acms/ and http://localhost/acms/admin for admin side.

Default admin access:

• Username: admin
• Password: admin123
